To be able to facilitate rapid collection and delivery of customer material, D.A. Cooper & Sons Ltd have invested heavily in providing their own transport service.  This allows loads of varying lengths with a total capacity to 44 tonnes GVW to be transported throughout the country at short notice.

The company not only transports steel but provides a comprehensive general haulage service.

We have 30 years’ experience in road haulage, and have the knowledge capacity and capability to offer a nationwide service that can meet all your requirements.  Our wide range of vehicles means we can deliver anything for you from a pallet to items up to 28tonnes.

We provide a variety of general haulage services.  Our 20 vehicles range from 7.5 tonne to 44 tonne articulated vehicles, including flats, curtain sided, moffats, low loaders, step frame trailers, extenders and hiab.

We are BS EN ISO9001 registered.  You can be assured of a high quality, and professional delivery of all our haulage services.    We are currently trusted by many national Blue-Chip companies that have been using our services long term (see testimonials), and our key aim is to grow and improve constantly, with quality at the forefront of our drive.

All our drivers are trained to the highest level at our award winning, onsite driving school, ensuring they all have the skills required to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of your goods.   Because of the nature of our core business  our speciality is hauling various types of steel .  We also carryout multi-drop deliveries, and specialised abnormal loads, not only for small to medium size businesses, but also for large blue chip companies.
