16mm [5/8”] to 101.4mm [4”] dia x 12.2m [40 ft] length
Round Bar Straightening or Reeling as it often referred to is carried out to achieve Bar Straightness of up-to 1:1000.
This process is generally carried out following Rolling or Heat Treatment to produce bar straightness suitable for further processing such as Centreless Bar Turning [Peeling] Centreless Grinding and/or Bright Drawing – or in some instances just for cosmetic purposes, for the removal of surface rust and scale as an alternative to Shot-blasting for greatly improved presentation and U/T Testing
